Sewing Associate - full time

Previous sewing experience required.  Katabatic Gear is seeking a quality and detail conscious individual to help us sew and inspect lightweight outdoor gear.  Our team works Monday – Thursday, 8 hours per day.

A typical day will include sewing and repairing sleeping bags, as well as inspecting sleeping bag shells to make sure they meet our quality standards.  If you want to be part of a team that is known for making people’s outdoor experiences more comfortable and fun (and if you meet the requirements below) please email a resume or job application to jobs@katabaticgear.com.

Requirements:

• Prior sewing experience is required
• Attention to detail, and pride in a job well done
• Ability to stand for a few hours at a time
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, with or without assistance

• Starting hourly pay $20.81/hr., or more depending on experience.  Pay raises as quality and efficiency improve.
