Elastic binding seals out drafts while being comfortable against your face, and will not restrict your vision. The Windom Hood will keep you warm while sleeping, hiking or being active in camp. Best Buy of gear purchases (for me) in 2022

This makes sleeping in sub-40 temps a treat. Perfect compliment to a quilt. Warm and quiet I keep in on until coffee is brewed and sun comes up. Very packable. Highly recommend.

Very Warm!

I purchased the Windom hood with my Alsek quilt, thinking that I would need the extra warmth for sub-freezing temps. I tend to sleep a bit warm and found that I was too warm with this hood above freezing. However, the hood is well-constructed and does what it's supposed to do. You could wear it around camp on a very cold morning, but even at 25 degrees I found that it was a bit too warm for me.

Predictably warm, surprisingly durable

Just tested during a 30° low sleeping with a quilt bag, and it was Goldilocks comfortable. Would easily keep you warm down to 20°. Also accidently poked it with a thorn and it didn’t even develop a noticeable hole. Quality!!
