"With the sensual fabric feel (yeah, I went there) and the Cord Clip system stabilization, I can hit the sack naked, tossing and turning all night, and the quilt will remain in place, untangled, comfortably caressing my sleeping self.”Read more from this review on backpackers.com

I already have a Palisade, Alsek but wanted a little warmer bag, so got a Sawatch. Very happy about the bag, just a couple ounces heavier than the Alsek, but noticably warmer, great quilt.
Very happy with every aspect. Delivery was exactly when promised. One week later I had it on the trail, and was comfortable in temperature around 19 F. Really appreciated the storm collar that night. Very pleased.
Um, this bag is sooooooo warm and cozy! Love it. Stitching is on point and fill is deluxe. The cord system to keep the bag in place seems to work really well for me'I go the extra distance and do the hook and the plastic tab connection on cold nights and it really works. American made, right here in Salida, of the highest quality in every aspect of the product. You're getting what you pay for!
I have so far been blown away by this quilt. Its the third quilt Ive owned, and compared to my previous quilts (EE and UGQ) it blows it out of the water. The shape of the quilt forms to the body with ease coupled with the feel of the perfect fabric makes it the most comfortable quilt Ive used by a significant margin. I was hesitant about the pad strap system at first, but quickly found That I actually prefer it to systems Ive used previously. Its simple, easy to adjust, and excellent at keeping drafts out. Im a relatively cold sleeper and have used the Sawatch so far for just winter camping in Colorado. My last trip temps got down around 8 degrees and with some strategic layering, I was able to stay warm through the entire night. Another aspect of my purchase I unexpectedly appreciated, was not having an incredible list of options to choose from. My last quilt was exceedingly customizable, which in the end left me feeling regret and mulling over choices waaay too much after the fact, hoping I made the right decision for me. It was actually refreshing to just pick the size and down type and be done, knowing that I could return it if I needed- which immediately became clear would not be happening. I know this may sound somewhat trivial, but was in the end tremendously relieving. The reinforced snap and draft collar are top notch, the draft collar is the most comfortable I have used, and the snap system is incredibly important to me. It drives me crazy to try and reattach a snap system in the dark when its cold. All in all, I couldnt be more pleased. This quilt from top to bottom is so well designed, so incredibly comfortable and warm. I couldnt recommend it enough.
Tested this out over the past weekend during winter, in preparation for a longer trip in Colorado. Im located in Southeastern US. As an extremely cold sleeper, I bought this quilt to replace one from another company that was too cold for me. I love it, the overstuffed draft collar is an especially amazing feature. Practice with the attachment straps ahead of time before using, Im very short (4 11) and it took my until the third night to really get it where I wanted/most efficient location. I will say after this learning curve they work well with the shape of the quilt to block out any draft points. Im glad I didnt get the wide version it wasnt necessary for me given its shape. For reference temperatures dipped to around 23 degrees, I used an xtherm pad, wore base layers w/ fleece hoodie as an cold sleeper (female) Comfort is priceless and Im happy with my choice. Thanks katabatic.
